What is Turkish Marbling (Ebru)?

Ebru is the traditional art of shaping colors on water and transferring the resulting patterns onto different surfaces. Although it is most commonly associated with paper, marbling can also be applied to fabric, book covers, decorative objects, and even the human body as a form of temporary artistic expression. Each design is created through movement on water, making every result completely unique and impossible to reproduce exactly.
